Likelihood of starting the tournament?
Guedioura made his debut in the 3-0 loss to Ireland last week. After the match he said all the players feared England, to which most of them probably replied "How would you know?" - the boy was making his debut in the match! He seems an unlikely starter, but a meteoric late surge into the squad having not even been considered for the African Cup of Nations and who knows - perhaps world cup glory beckons? Or at least a couple of jog on appearances late in games.
Commitment to shirt number? Tenuous at best. He wore shirt number 34 at Wolves which is double 17. He has no real connection to any shirt so it seems this selection was by default.
How to follow him throughout the tournament: Well he has his own website, unfortunately currently undergoing construction but possibly to celebrate his arrival in the premiership. Alongside this however is his facebook fan page, which does seem frequently updated.
