Likelihood of starting the tournament: Chidi is an exciting and dangerous attacking full-back who is likely to start the tournament. In the African Cup of Nations 2010 he spent a lot of time on the bench with Yusuf Mohamed played at right-back, however due to injury Yusuf will not be making the World Cup, giving Chidi the chance to show what he can do in a 17 shirt. Look out for him charging up the right wing.
Commitment to shirt: Poor. His first experience of wearing the 17 shirt was in the African Cup of Nations 2010 and this is the next time he will wear it. In his defence he cannot wear the 17 jersey for his side due to the presence of 17 pureblood Milos Krasic, and could not previously wear it for Nigeria as it belonged to the acrobatic Julius Aghahowa.
How to follow him throughout the tournament: With difficulty. He does appear to be fond of a quote though, so you may be forced to track him in the tournament.
